IATA World Cargo Symposium 2024

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) served as the host airport for the 17th International Air Transport Association (IATA) World Cargo Symposium (WCS), held first time ever in Hong Kong from 12 to 14 March 2024 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, with Cathay Cargo as the host airline. This edition of the symposium set a record for attendance, with 1,950 delegates from over 70 countries or regions, making it the biggest attended IATA conference ever.  

Themed “Driving Sustainable and Inclusive Growth”, the three-day WCS attracted industry experts from all over the world, including representatives from airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, shippers and regulators, who came together to exchange experiences and assess the industry’s current state and its prospects for the future.
