The Airport Authority Hong Kong (“AAHK”) participated as an exhibitor at InnoEX 2026, a flagship technology fair jointly organised by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Under the theme of “Innovate • Automate • Elevate”, AAHK showcased award-winning projects from the Hong Kong ICT Awards in the Smart Hong Kong Pavilion, demonstrating its continued commitment to innovation and smart logistics development, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a world’s leading air cargo hub.

“Hong Kong Air Import SmartCollect” is a breakthrough project transforming traditional paper‑based manual counter services and queuing processes of air import cargo collection at the cargo terminals into a seamless, paperless, planned operation, enhancing the user experience through collaborative HK air cargo community while strengthening cargo traceability, security, and overall operational efficiency.

AAHK also presented “HKIA Cargo Connect”, the world’s first airport-led initiative to empower airline partnerships through an innovative, intelligent and interconnected digital ecosystem of air cargo industry. Through enabling intelligent matchmaking for airline partnerships, the Platform addresses industry challenges arising from fragmented and manual communications and fosters new business opportunities for all.
