Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Atlas) has become the world’s largest customer for Airbus’ new A350F freighter, confirming an order for 20 aircraft on 16 March, with the option for a further 20. The agreement also represents the most sizeable order in the airline’s history.

The company is modernising its fleet, with deliveries scheduled between 2029 and 2034. The A350F sets new benchmarks for payload-range performance and fuel efficiency. It is also the only freighter designed to be fully compliant with the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s latest CO2 emissions standards.

Atlas is the world’s largest 6 widebody freighter operator and has a major presence in Hong Kong. Its fleet renewal supports the continued development of the city’s role as a leading international air cargo hub.
