ONE Record Implementation: Challenges and Opportunities
On 24 April 2026, Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) was invited to participate in the “ONE Record Hong Kong” seminar as a panelist, hosted by International Air Transport Association (IATA) at Cathay City. The seminar brought together representatives from freight forwarders, industry associations, airlines, and IT solution providers to exchange views on ONE Record adoption.
During the panel discussion on “ONE Record Implementation: Challenges and Opportunities”, industry experts shared their prospects on how ONE Record could transform the industry, while AAHK highlighted its achievements in introducing the ONE Record compatible HKIA Cargo Data Platform and completing joint-pilots as early as 2021.
